Grange - Johnson Development Invests in Katy's Brightest StudentsFebruary 03, 2025
In today's world, where education serves as the bedrock of progress, Grange developer Johnson Development is stepping up to make a difference with a new college scholarship program. Designed specifically for high school seniors in the Katy Independent School District (KISD)The Grange by Johnson Development Corp. College Scholarship Program provides an opportunity to alleviate some of the financial pressures of college, allowing students to focus on what truly matters—their education and future ambitions. Two Katy ISD students will receive $5,000 this year to be used for tuition, books, room and board or anything else related to education. This is a versatile lifeline for students’ academic journey, allowing them the flexibility to allocate the funds where they need them most. This financial freedom means less stress over costs and more focus on their studies and future ambitions. To throw their hats in the ring, students must meet a few key criteria, including a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. This ensures that they're academically prepared to take on the challenges of higher education. Applicants must also enroll in a two- to five-year institution starting the following fall and be a U. S. citizen or permanent resident living within the Katy area. The application period kicked off in January and wraps up March 1. Scholarship winners will be announced April 15. Full details on the program and the application can be foundat https://www.liveingrange.com/scholarship. The Grange scholarship program sets out to make dreams attainable and build a community of future leaders. The program also emphasizes the importance of leadership and community service. It seeks out students who not only excel in academics but also show a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. If you know of a student who is a perfect fit for this opportunity, encourage them to apply. It could be the key to unlocking their potential. |
