1,000 Followers = $1,000 for Thrive With Autism

Kresston - 1,000 Followers = $1,000 for Thrive With Autism

February 17, 2025

One thousand new Instagram followers equaled $1,000 for Thrive with Autism. It was all the result of a recent Kresston social media campaign, one that wasn’t just about growing a digital following; it was about fostering a sense of community and giving back.

As part of our #KresstonCares initiative, we pledged to donate $1,000 to a local non-profit if we reached 1,000 followers on Instagram. Once we achieved the magic number, we invited our Instagram community to vote between five non-profit organizations. The winner? Thrive with Autism

On Jan. 28, Kresston representatives made a special visit to the organization’s Thrive Center for Success to present the donation.

What is Thrive with Autism and why is it vital to the community? The Magnolia-based non-profit is committed to providing high-quality education, therapies and essential services tailored to each child's unique needs. Central to their mission is the Thrive Center for Success, a tuition-free public charter school that blends Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with academic learning.

The center opened in 2022 initially serving kindergarten through fifth grade. As of the 2024-2025 academic year, it has expanded to include seventh grade, with plans to continue growing to 12th grade. This expansion reflects the organization's ongoing commitment to providing long-term educational opportunities for students with autism.

What makes Thrive with Autism particularly special is its low student-to-teacher ratio and staff trained specifically to work with children on the autism spectrum. This allows for a more personalized and effective learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally. The center also offers on-site access to speech, occupational and physical therapy, creating a well-rounded support system for each child.

Thrive with Autism's work is vital for families in the Magnolia area and beyond, serving students from multiple school districts, including Conroe, Klein, Magnolia, Montgomery, Spring, Tomball and Waller. Their dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment ensures children with autism receive the resources and attention they need to succeed.

We are proud to bring awareness to important causes like Thrive With Autism, demonstrating how a connected community can work together to support those in need.
