Kresston - Scoot Your Boots to Kresston for March 29 Grand Opening

March 20, 2025

Kresston in Magnolia will host a rodeo-themed grand opening with fun for all ages 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at 26850 Trailblazers Run.

Jon Wolfe will headline a day of live music, shopping local artisans and more. Curtis Grimes and Delaney Anne will also perform throughout the day. Young visitors will enjoy carnival activities sized just for them. The Meating Place BBQ and Fletcher’s Corny Dogs will be among the many food vendors with items for sale, and those ages 21 and older can sample wine and local beers.

“This event speaks to our Texas roots and hometown vibe,” said Stephen Barrera, Vice President and General Manager of Kresston. “It’s also an opportunity to see our newly opened model homes, all of which are professionally designed and decorated.”

Builders Chesmar Homes, David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Village Builders and Westin Homes have opened nine models in Kresston. Each model will have a different rodeo-themed activity.

Guests who wear cowboy boots to the Kresston Rodeo will have a chance to win a pair of Lucchese boots.

Admission is free, but attendees are asked to register at www.kresston.com/rodeo.

Homes in Kresston are priced from the $360,000s. Construction started last year on Legends Pointe, a 10-acre amenity complex in Kresston’s Heartland District that will feature four pickleball courts, a 2,000-square-foot splash pad, open event lawn, playground and the Boot House, a 3,000-square-foot welcome center. The Boot House is expected to open this spring, with the remaining Legends Pointe amenities slated to open in the second quarter of this year.

The 1,465-acre Kresston is located near Magnolia with frontage along State Highway 249 and FM 1486.
