Did you hear that? It’s the sound of a clock ticking down on your chance to purchase a newly built home in Cross Creek Ranch! Fewer than 100 newly constructed homes are available, bringing us closer to completing a development journey now in its 19th year. Four builders — Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Taylor Morrison and Tri Pointe Homes — have new homes available in Cross Creek Ranch. Seven models are open, showcasing homes priced from the $380,000s to more than $800,000. “More than 60 homes already have sold so far this year in Cross Creek Ranch, so it’s possible our builders will sell out this year,” said Stephen Brovarone, General Manager of Cross Creek Ranch. “Cross Creek Ranch has been a fixture in the Fulshear area for so long, accounting for much of the region’s growth over the past decade. It’s almost unbelievable to see this coming to a close.” Trendmaker Homes (now Tri Pointe Homes) originally acquired the 3,200 acres for Cross Creek Ranch and began development in 2006. Johnson Development purchased the community in 2012, expanding on the vision originally set for the community. “We wanted Cross Creek Ranch to be heavily inspired by nature and sustainable, even before that movement became so popular,” Brovarone said. “We created more than 400 acres of amenity waterways throughout the community, used native grasses as landscaping and built the Polishing Pond that serves as both a community amenity and a wetland treatment basin.” An agricultural ditch was transformed into the Flewellen Creek Nature Preserve, a 2-mile stream surrounded by 150 acres of parkland that traverses Cross Creek Ranch. Johnson Development’s restoration of Flewellen Creek won a Parks and Natural Areas restoration award by the Houston-Galveston Area Council in 2014. The community has won other awards for its environmentally sensitive development, including a Trees for Houston Arbor Award in 2016 and a Sustainability Stars Award by the West Houston Association in 2018. Cross Creek Ranch has also been popular with home buyers, landing on the list of the nation’s top-selling master-planned communities 13 times since 2011, including the list released earlier this year by John Burns Real Estate Consulting. Visit soon to see why thousands have selected Cross Creek Ranch as their home. But hurry — if you want all the advantages of a brand new home in Cross Creek Ranch, the time to move is now.
