Harvest Green - Meet New Lifestyle Director Michelle Thompson

Harvest Green’s new Lifestyle Director, Michelle Thompson, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for community building to the neighborhood.

Her professional background in marketing communications and event management has prepared her to craft the kinds of events, activities and festivities Harvest Green is known for.

Michelle enjoys coming up with fun and meaningful ideas that leave a lasting impression. From brainstorming to handling the finishing touches, she dives into each event with a clear goal of creating moments that matter to people.

“What I love about creating activities and events is the opportunity to bring people together and create meaningful experiences,” she said. “I enjoy the creative process — coming up with ideas that are engaging, purposeful and memorable. Seeing people connect, have fun or learn something new through an event that I created is rewarding.”

She is excited to launch a series of fresh, engaging events that are all about bringing the residents of Harvest Green closer together and fostering a strong community spirit.

She hosted "Prime Time," a dedicated social hour where neighbors come together to build new friendships, share stories and strengthen their sense of community. 

“We were so excited to introduce ‘The Corral Crew,’" she said. “It was Family Recess that is a casual, friendly meet-up where families gather at the Kids Corral playground for a fun relaxed playtime. I want to make sure that all our events are engaging and build community! Stay tuned to for announcements for more events.”

Michelle made the move to Houston more than two decades ago and has called the Sugar Land area home for the past 15 years. Family plays a central role in her life—she has two children, one starting their college journey and the other navigating their first year of high school.

When she’s not busy planning events, Michelle enjoys indulging in creative hobbies like refinishing furniture and exploring unique finds through thrift shopping. As a sports fan, she loves cheering on Houston’s own Astros and Texans, combining her passion for the game with her appreciation for spending time with loved ones.
