Riverstone - Riverstone Builders Report 35 Weekly Home Sales

Riverstone, ranked No. 3 among Houston’s top-selling communities, is again breaking records, with 35 home sales the week of Feb. 25.

“It is the highest number of home sales posted for one week in Riverstone’s history,” said Tom Wilcox, general manager of Riverstone. “The run of record-breaking sales we’ve experienced for the past two years appears to be continuing into 2013.”

The Fort Bend community’s new-home sales are 28 percent more for the first nine weeks of 2013 than for the same time period last year. Builders have started 119 homes in Riverstone this year, compared with 61 started at this time last year, an increase of 95 percent.

Sales in 2012 were more than double the pace from 2011. The number of sales from both years broke previous years’ records.

Riverstone is located along Highway 6 in Fort Bend County, a few miles from both U.S. 59 and the Fort Bend Parkway. Twenty builders offer homes in the community, with prices from the $200,000s.
