Riverstone - Selling More Homes, Breaking New Records

Riverstone continues to impress new-home buyers, with the development already reporting a third year of record-breaking sales and now ranked No. 8 among the nation’s most active master-planned communities by Metrostudy.

Through mid-September, builders had already sold 625 new homes in the Fort Bend development, more than all the new homes sold in 2012 and 40 percent more than the number of homes sold through the same time last year.

Riverstone moved up 11 spots on Metrostudy’s list of the nation’s most active master-planned communities to No. 8 this year compared with No. 19 in 2012. It is one of three developments on the list reporting a triple-digit increase in year-over-year starts, with a 113 percent increase from last year. Metrostudy ranks Riverstone No. 3 on its list of the Houston area’s most active communities. Robert Charles Lesser & Co. lists Riverstone as No. 7 on its tally of the nation’s top-selling developments.

Since its inception, builders have sold more than 3,000 homes in Riverstone, officially putting the community halfway through its development cycle.
