Woodforest - Make a Child Smile This Holiday

The Lake Conroe Fire Station in Woodforest is collecting donations for Toys for Tots through Dec. 20.

Those interested can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at the station, 2675 Woodforest Parkway North.

“The station is manned 24 hours a day, so it’s easy for people to drop off a donation any time,” said Kristi Steward, marketing director for Woodforest. “We’re off to a good start and hope to collect as many toys as possible to brighten the holidays for underprivileged children.”

Toys will be distributed to area children. Toys for Tots organizers do not give recommendations regarding toy selection; however, realistic-looking weapons and gifts with food will not be distributed.
