Riverstone - A Good Reason to Clean Those Closets

The Elkins High School Parent Volunteer Organization is accepting donations of clothing, towels and more for a fundraiser to purchase a digital marquee for the school and beautify the high school patio.

Items accepted include clothing of all sizes, towels, sheets, pillowcases, comforters, shoes, belts, purses, small toys no larger than 24x24x24 and stuffed animals. Items can be in any condition and will be sold to a textile recycling company.

The volunteer organization will collect donations 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at the side parking lot of Lowe’s, 3807 FM 1092. Items also can be brought to the high school any time during school hours.
