Riverstone - Lightening-Quick Internet Lands in Riverstone

Ultra-fast Internet speeds have come to Houston and Riverstone residents are among the first to enjoy them.

Houston-based EnTouch is introducing 1 gigabit-per-second speeds to residents in Riverstone, Cinco Ranch Southwest and sister community Sienna Plantation. Commercial facilities will receive the enhanced services this month.

Lucky users should notice an appreciable difference in download speeds.

“With 1 gig, you can download 100 pictures or so in about 3 seconds, you can do 100 songs in about the same time,” said Danny White, EnTouch senior product manager, in an article printed in the Houston Business Journal. “And a 750 megabyte HD movie, you can download in less than ten seconds.”
