Riverstone - Riverstone: Houston's Most Active MPC

Riverstone has earned another top accolade as the Houston Business Journal announced today that the development is ranked No. 1 on its list of most active residential communities.

The tally is ranked by annual starts for the 12 months ending the second quarter of 2014. During that timeframe, builders started 818 homes in Riverstone, nearly one-tenth of the 8,874 homes started in the 25 developments included on the list. Riverstone outranked the second most-active community by 216 home starts.

“We have gained momentum each year, attracting builders and buyers with a prime Fort Bend location, unrivaled amenities and a reputation for quality development,” said Trey Reichert, vice president and general manager of Riverstone.

Riverstone also posted the greatest increase in annual housing starts, gaining 270 more starts than the previous 12 months. The yearly list also showed closings per community. Riverstone posted 683 closings for the 12 months ending in June, an increase of 258 from the prior year. Riverstone had the second-highest increase in annual closings among the developments listed.

Riverstone also is ranked the top-selling development in Texas and is No. 4 among the nation’s most popular developments.
