Woodforest - Woodforest Sees 1st Traffic Lights

Signaling the tremendous growth Woodforest has experienced the past several years, the community’s first traffic lights became operational this week.

The traffic signals are located at Fish Creek Thoroughfare and Woodforest Parkway North. Two thousand feet of east-west pathways are being poured this week that will connect the Overland Trace neighborhood across Fish Creek Thoroughfare at the traffic signal to the Muirfield Pointe neighborhood.

Following last year’s record-breaking home sales, Woodforest has continued its impressive growth this year, with builders selling more than 400 new homes and more than 320 families welcomed into the development. More than 1,100 homes have closed in the development since sales began in 2009.
