Cross Creek Ranch - Trifecta of Community Events Planned for Houston's Largest Home TourMarch 31, 2016
Visitors will experience the close-knit lifestyle of Cross Creek Ranch during a trifecta of events planned for Houston’s Largest Home Tour in April. The month-long event, sponsored by Cross Creek Ranch developer Johnson Development, opens the doors to hundreds of homes, including 120 models, throughout 14 of its unique communities featured on the tour. At Cross Creek Ranch, 18 model homes will be open for touring 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays, showcasing the latest in design trends and home technology. The public also will enjoy three events near and dear to Cross Creek Ranch residents’ hearts. On April 16, treasure hunters can find something old and something new at the annual Spring Garage Sale. Each year residents clear out the clutter during the community-wide event. Sales will be held at residents’ homes, 7 a.m. to noon, and maps will be available at the Welcome Center, 6450 Cross Creek Bend Lane. Art in its many forms will be celebrated in the community from noon-5 p.m. Saturday, April 23 during the fourth-annual Arts Fulshear Art Walk. The palette of activities will include demonstrations, hands-on art activities, live performances and food and wine trucks. Plus, up to 75 artists will participate in a juried competition; original art work will be on display and for sale. In addition to enjoying the arts celebration, the public is invited to celebrate the gift of life by donating blood at the Cross Creek Ranch community center, 6450 Cross Creek Bend Lane. The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will accept donations 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 23. Learn more at www.giveblood.org and register by emailing Claire Perrott at ccrlifestyledirector@nfcamenity.com. Cross Creek Ranch, a 3,200-acre community in Fulshear, is just minutes west of the Grand Parkway off of FM 1093. Other master-planned communities featured in the home tour are Riverstone, Veranda, Imperial, Harvest Green and Sienna Plantation in Fort Bend County; Jordan Ranch, Willow Creek Farms in Fulshear/Katy; Tuscan Lakes and Edgewater in the Bay Area; Fall Creek in northeast Houston; and Harmony, Woodforest and Grand Central Park in South Montgomery County.
