Riverstone - Kayak on the Lake Sept. 10

Experienced and novice kayakers are invited to paddle over to Riverstone 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, for Kayak on the Lake.

Riverstone has teamed with Houston-based Fishing Tackle Unlimited for the free event. Kayaks by Hobie, Native Watercraft, Perception and Wilderness can be taken for a spin, and brand experts are on hand to share information and expertise.

Children are welcome to participate, but parents must be present. Everyone is invited to throw down a blanket and picnic along the shoreline while taking a break from being on the water. Parking is available at The Club at Riverstone, 18353 University Boulevard.

Riverstone residents have access to 200 acres of lakes throughout the top-selling community. Residents enjoy kayaking and canoeing, as well as catch-and-release fishing from the community fishing pier.
