Johnson Development Supports March for BabiesApril 04, 2017
Johnson Development Corp. is raising money to give every baby a fighting chance during the March of Dimes’ largest fundraiser, March for Babies. Johnson Development’s goal is to raise $20,000 to support the March of Dimes’ mission of preventing premature births — the No. 1 cause of death among newborns. Each of the developer’s eight Houston-area communities is raising at least $2,000 toward the goal. Three — Cross Creek Ranch, Sienna Plantation and Woodforest — have set goals of $3,000, $4,000 and $5,000 respectively. The march itself will take place on April 29 at Constellation Field, 1 Stadium Drive, Sugar Land, within Johnson Development’s own Imperial master-planned community. Money raised during the march will be used locally to support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. Proceeds also bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care. Interested donors can help support March for Babies by:
For those interested in walking, registration is at 8 a.m. and the walk begins at 9 a.m. Every walker who raises $100 or more will receive a March for Babies 2017 collectible shirt. |
