Grand Central Park - Houston's Largest Home Tour Sets Up Camp in April

Houston’s Largest Home Tour sets up camp this April in Grand Central Park where you can discover nine luxury model homes, a host of decorating ideas and a fun-filled Grand Opening Jamboree.

The tour, sponsored by Grand Central Park developer Johnson Development Corp., allows prospective homebuyers — or those just looking for a few decorating ideas — to tour 14 Johnson communities. The latest in colors, textures, furniture and architectural detailing will be on display in model and inventory homes including townhomes, patio designs and executive homes. Homes will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.

In addition, communities will be hosting numerous free and family-friendly events throughout the month. Grand Central Park is inviting the public to a camping-themed jamboree from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, April 22. Eager campers will be able to sample light refreshments at the canteen bar and register to win a Jeep tour of Sedona, Arizona. Families also can register for a chance to win camping gear with everything needed to set up camp, meet Smokey the Bear, climb a rock wall and take photos with a kangaroo and her joey. The event is free, but registration is requested.
