Harmony - York Junior High Students Participate in Conroe ISD Leadership Academy

School may be out for the summer, but that didn’t keep a group of eighth-grade students from York Junior High, one of Harmony’s outstanding public schools, from learning about leadership and careers during Conroe ISD’s 11th Annual Student Leadership Academy.  

The York Junior High students were joined by other Conroe ISD eighth graders where they participated in leadership activities, mock interviews and panel discussions.

An array of notable guests, including retired NFL Player Gerald Irons, the Honorable Judge Kathleen Hamilton, and Congressman Kevin Brady, spoke at the four-day conference.
