Veranda - Veranda Lights the Fuse on a Star-Spangled Grand Opening

Our grand opening celebration may have experienced a rain delay last month, but we are getting the party re-started with a star-spangled salute to Veranda and the nation featuring fireworks, food trucks and fun on Saturday, July 1, from 6-9 p.m.

Everyone is invited to gather at our model home park, 2020 Pearl Glen Drive, to enjoy free family fun including a live DJ, bounce houses, a stilt walker, a rock wall, games and fireworks starting at 9 p.m.

We also will have a giant water slide available to cool revelers down (don’t forget your towels!) and Kites Unlimited of Galveston will be letting their high-flying kites soar. The first 500 guests will receive picnic blankets they can use to enjoy our beautiful fireworks display.

When it comes to party food, we’ve got your back. Clancy’s Public House will be on hand with Southern food and ice-cold beer for purchase. Other fabulous food trucks will be on-site as well. When you are ready for dessert, consider entering our watermelon-eating contest!

In between activities, tour our nine decked-out model homes. Representatives from builders Sitterle Homes, Lennar Homes, Coventry Homes, Highland Homes, Newmark Homes, Perry Homes, Westin Homes and Davis Weekley Homes will be available to meet with you to discuss their flexible home designs.
