Riverstone - Top-Selling Realtor Purchases 1st Home in The Grove at Riverstone

Riverstone’s newest neighborhood — The Grove at Riverstone — is selling fast, with the enclave’s first buyer one who knows the community well.

Kunal Seth — a Riverstone resident and one of the community’s top-selling Realtors — was first in line to purchase a Newmark Homes design in The Grove at Riverstone. Newmark is the exclusive builder in the 26+-acre development.

“The combination of Newmark Homes and Riverstone was irresistible when we were looking for a home for my parents, who recently retired and were moving from out of the country to Houston,” Seth said. 

Seth, a Realtor with RE/MAX Fine Properties and a resident of Riverstone since 2013, said he didn't even look at a different community, especially since his sister and brother-in-law also live in the development. And Newmark’s range of home designs and flexibility was appealing. 

“Newmark has a great line-up of floor plans — especially one-story homes,” Seth said. “Typically, builders have one to three single-story plans to choose from, whereas in The Grove, Newmark has seven one-story designs.

“Plus, Newmark allows buyers to make custom changes to the home at a very reasonable price.”

Seth said the custom changes will give his parents an expansive water view, something they are looking forward to when they move in next summer.

Sales started in The Grove at Riverstone Oct. 2. The enclave has 67 60-foot homesites. Newmark, which acquired the property a year ago, offers 14 plans in the builder’s Executive Series. The home designs range from 2,600 to 3,500 square feet and feature formal living and dining rooms, gourmet kitchens, expansive master suites and three-car garages. Prices start from the low $400,000s.

This is Newmark’s fourth neighborhood in Riverstone. The builder also is the exclusive builder in 22-acre Pebble Creek where it offers homes on 55-foot homesites. Luxury homes on 70-foot properties are offered in Riverstone’s upscale Avalon neighborhood. Million-dollar homes through Newmark’s custom home division — Fedrick, Harris Estate Homes — are available in the Enclave at Riverstone.

Riverstone is the top-selling community in Houston, according to the RCLCO 2017 mid-year list of the nation’s “Top 50 Master-planned Communities” — a position it has held for several years. Many homes — including those in The Grove at Riverstone — offer a Sugar Land address.
