Cross Creek Ranch - Scarecrow Fest Goes for Gold and Wins!

Our 2017 Scarecrow Fest took the gold for fall family fun, as nearly 8,000 people joined us for special live performances, carnival rides and games, and the ever-popular scarecrow decorating contest, this year themed the “Scarecrowlympics.”

Twenty-six entrants put their creative skills to the ultimate test, vying for cash prizes, including a $1,000 grand prize. The Miss Fulshear Beauty Pageant won the $1,000 first-place prize with its “Miss Fulshear Olympic Legends” scarecrow. Tying for second place and winning $500 each were “Craig BOO!ggio” by Stephen Kana and “Medal Ceremony” by Rowena Laine. Third place winner Carmel Jasso took home $250 for the “Perfect 10 Ice Skater.”
