Set in a restored 130 year-old-house, this Mediterranean restaurant offers delicious tapas, wine, coffee, and desserts. During beautiful McKinney fall and spring days, enjoy dining on their patio. So, what is a tapa, anyway? According to Cafe Malaga, "tapa in Spanish means cover or lid. Inn keepers would place a small cover over a customer's wine glass and put a salty snack such as olives or ham on it. Nowadays, a tapa can be any food that's served on small plates and is usually accompanied by wine or beer." Their menu offers more than 45 items, including tasty tapas and appetizers. For vegetarians, there are delicious options as well. All of these food items pair amazingly well with a variety of beer, wine, or sangria. What's more, they have amazing deals throughout the week! They have Wine Down Wednesdays, offering 50% off select bottles of wine. On Thursdays, Paella is 30% off and on Sundays you can enjoy 20% off tapas, 30% off Paella, and 50% off homemade Red Sangira.
