Keep your windows open when possible – This simple habit can go a long way. When the weather permits you to have your windows open, take advantage of it! Allowing fresh air to come into your home helps keep the house naturally ventilated and also keeps toxins flowing out. 

Reuse old products – Thoroughly clean your old spray bottles and reuse them to clean windows, bathrooms and kitchen countertops. You can tear up old tee shirts and use those pieces to wipe the counters down instead of using paper towels. Furthermore, instead of throwing out old toothbrushes, use them to scrub hard-to-reach places easily. 

Leave your shoes at the door – Stop and think about where your shoes have been today: in the street, in public restrooms, at the grocery store, etc. Trekking through the house with all of the day's germs leaves your house dirtier than you think. Avoid inviting unwanted germs into your home by leaving your shoes at the door.
