Trinity Falls - What's Happening Around McKinney?October 17, 2014
If there's one thing you can count on, it's that there is always fun to be had in and around McKinney! After all, it was voted the best city in the United States by Money Magazine! We're here to tell you about some of the best activities going on over the next few weeks. Treat Street: We had to start out with our very own Treat Street event because we are so excited about it! Tomorrow, join us at Trinity Falls for tricks, treats, and fun family activities! Our model homes will be open and there will be cookie decorating, tricycle races, and even a hayride. It's the ultimate pre-Halloween party! Historic Heard-Craig House: This past week marked the opening of the Historic Heard-Craig House tours! Come tour this beautiful Victorian home where some of McKinney's most important residents lived. It is open until December 31st. For tour hours and rates, click here. Big Orange Pumpkin Farm: Luckily for McKinney residents, Celina, TX is right down the road and offers tons of fun as well! The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm is located on a gorgeous farm. There are pumpkins to be picked, animals to be fed, and hayrides to be enjoyed. Come celebrate the lovely month of October at the farm! Scare on the Square: We hope you don't get frightened too easily! Scare on the Square is McKinney's annual Halloween event. Hundreds of trick-or-treaters, big and small, will venture out in hopes of filling their buckets with sweet treats. This is a fun, safe-for-all-ages event for the family. October is jam-packed with awesome events for all ages! McKinney and surrounding areas such as Frisco, Allen, and Celina are all offering unique Halloween experiences this year. We hope to see you out and about! |
