Trinity Falls - North Texas Turkey Trot Coming Up!November 18, 2015
Before the turkey, gravy and seemingly endless supply of delicious food and football kick off in Trinity Falls homes, there's one annual tradition that comes first: The North Texas Turkey Trot. That's right, the yearly event is back, and just like Thanksgiving, it's always one of the great North Texas events to bring family and friends together. It's also a great way to burn off some the calories before you even eat them! This year's North Texas Turkey Trot will be held November 26, Thanksgiving Day, at the Frisco Square. If you're traveling from out of town, the address is 5500 Frisco Square Blvd, Frisco, TX 75034. The 2015 route is all new and there are a few different options depending on how far you're looking to walk, run or trot! There is the Miracle Mile, which is perfect for those with children and babies. There is also a 5K, which is about 3.1 miles and a 10K which is about 6.2 miles. Get your serious jog on or simply enjoy the beautiful start to the day walking around the Frisco Square. View the race course and decide which is best for you! Although the race is mostly for fun, there will be awards for both male and female at different age groups from 14 and under through 80+. Here's the full race day schedule: Prior to the race, you'll need to pickup packets for you and the other participants in your family. Packet Pick-Up is as follows: Sports Authority Frisco Saturday, November 21, 2015: 10am – 9pm There is still time to register for the North Texas Turkey Trot!
