Trinity Falls - Meet the 500th Family to Fall for Trinity FallsMay 19, 2017
When Mary and Cann Hoe discovered Trinity Falls in northwest McKinney, it was love at first sight — making them the 500th homeowners to be welcomed into our community. The couple had spent two years scoping out the Plano area in preparation of Cann’s upcoming relocation to the new Toyota headquarters. “Trinity Falls wasn’t even on our radar,” Mary said. “We didn’t know it existed.” Luckily, their Realtor did. As soon as the Hoes found the development, they knew it was the right place for them. “It happened really suddenly with Trinity Falls,” Mary said. “We just felt like it was the best community for us.” Cann describes himself as a planner — and said he and his wife made a long list of requirements for their Realtor. Trinity Falls checked off all the boxes. “It’s a great location and has great builders,” he said. “It met all the things on our list. It’s a walkable community, with lots of greenery. We didn’t want to be in a concrete jungle.” Mary said access to trails was a selling point for her. “Having hiking trails in our backyard was a big deal for us,” she said. “It’s kind of like having a little bit of our home in California here.” Cann also researched traffic patterns and found that Trinity Falls was close to freeways and local roadways, making it a quick and easy drive to Plano. “It’s really convenient for us to get anywhere,” Cann said. This will be the couple’s first home purchase. Since they are relocating from California to Texas, they wanted to be in a welcoming neighborhood. “We found out the HOA hosts a lot of different activities like running groups, brunches, movie nights, sports events,” Cann said. “Having all of those options and opportunities to meet people was attractive to us. We’re looking forward to making new friends and putting down roots.” The Highland Homes’ model further sealed the deal. “Highland was the first one we saw, and we fell in love with it,” she said. “It was the perfect mix of traditional and contemporary styles.” Seven builders offer designs priced from the $300,000s in the 1,700-acre master-planned development: Ashton Woods Homes, Beazer Homes, Emerald Homes, Gehan Homes, Highland Homes, Meritage Homes and Plantation Homes. Mary and Cann Hoe are packing up their belongings now and plan to be moved into their home next month. “Everybody is excited about visiting us in Trinity Falls,” Mary said.
