Trinity Falls - Make Mine a Classic MusicalAugust 07, 2017
At Trinity Falls, we love our summer movie nights, but if you are a lover of vintage musicals, the McKinney Classic Film Festival is offering up some toe-tapping fun from the 1940s and ‘50s, Friday through Sunday, Aug. 25-27. The popular film fest is celebrating its third year of bringing classic movies back to the big screen with a tribute to the fabulous musicals produced by MGM Studios during the golden age of cinema. Theatergoers will be treated to a movie premiere atmosphere at the historic McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee Street, McKinney, TX 75069, and are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Hollywood attire. It’s not required, it’s just fun. Concessions will be available and special guests will amaze you with trivia about the films before they start. The festival will conclude with a closing party at 7:15 p.m. Sunday. Enjoy these fun musicals: Gigi — Friday, Aug. 25, at 7:30 p.m. The Band Wagon — Saturday, Aug. 26, at 3:30 p.m. Meet Me in St. Louis —Saturday, Aug. 26, at 7:30 p.m. The Pirate — Sunday, Aug. 27, at 2:30 p.m. On the Town — Sunday, Aug. 27, at 5 p.m. Single tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children, students and seniors.
