You Can Make a Difference on Sept. 14

Trinity Falls - You Can Make a Difference on Sept. 14

September 13, 2017

Make double the difference in the lives of struggling single mothers and their children on North Texas Giving Day, Sept. 14, when you make a donation to Shiloh Place — a donation Trinity Falls will match!

If you haven’t been a part of it before, North Texas Giving Day (NTGD) is an annual 18-hour online giving extravaganza for North Texas nonprofits. Since 2009, NTGD has pumped more than $156 million for more than 2,500 local nonprofits into the North Texas community

Shiloh Place is participating this year with the goal of raising $55,000 to help them break the cycle of poverty. The organization provides homeless single mothers with housing, childcare, tuition, counseling, and life skills classes for up to 2 years so they can become self-supporting.

We will be matching your donations — up to $750 — to Shiloh Place, doubling the amount of good they can do in the McKinney community. In addition, every donation over $25 is not only matched, but also will qualify for additional bonus funds from Communities Foundation of Texas!

Although the official NTGD date is Sept.14, giving is open now. To give, go to the North Texas Giving Day website and select Shiloh Place. Your gift will be processed on Sept. 14th, and will still be part of matching funds and hourly prizes that day.

After you donate make plans to attend the Collin County Giving Day Party in historic Finch Park from 5-8 p.m. on Sept. 14. The Collin County Donation Station will include a proclamation by McKinney Mayor pro tem, food trucks, games, magicians, balloon artists, and music in historic downtown McKinney.

Help Trinity Falls make a difference and give to Shiloh Place today!
