Harvest Green - How Green is Your Lawn?

Could your front lawn use a little oomph or your house a little extra curb appeal? Could you use a little help unraveling the mysteries surrounding planting shrubs and trees? Get tips from the pros at Harvest Green, one Thursday a month from March 22 to October 25.

We have partnered with the Fort Bend Master Gardeners to present a series of landscaping classes at The Farmhouse, 3400 Harvest Corner Drive. Each month, a different topic will be covered, but the goal is to help you craft a beautiful, thriving yard and garden.

Classes are geared toward helping our residents, so instructors will be using our homeowners association approved plant list and landscaping rules. The cost is $50 for the entire six-month series and will include handouts, books and other resources. Light refreshments will be served.  

Classes will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. on March 22, April 26, May 24, Aug. 23, Sept. 27 and Oct. 25. Topics will cover Fort Bend soils, choosing the right plants, irrigation tips, lawn needs, fertilization, landscape pests and planting trees and shrubs.
