Trinity Falls - Be McKinney Does Trinity Falls

The fun-loving duo behind the where-to-go Eat, Drink & Be McKinney blog will now be showing similar love for Trinity Falls, and rightly so since Trinity Falls is what brought Megan Baca and Cassie Volpe together.

Cassie moved to Trinity Falls about three years ago from Illinois with Megan following about six months after when she and her family moved from Irving. They met through the resident Moms group and instantly shared a bond over having same-age children and a desire to learn more about their new area.

“Cassie and I noticed that there was no single source to find out what to do in McKinney — where’s a good patio, who has a good menu — so we decided to do a blog that showcases McKinney,” Megan said.

Eat, Drink and Be McKinney was born last September and has earned quite an audience with thousands following them on social media eager to learn where to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, what to do Memorial Day weekend in McKinney and the weekly TGIF McKinney column that puts the fun into the weekend.

“It’s blown up, especially after the first of the year,” Megan said. “We love interacting with people who comment or message us.”

Megan says they also love living in Trinity Falls and are looking forward to telling people about the community.

“There is such a sense of community and so many ways to get involved,” she said. “When you go to the playground, ride bikes or walk through the neighborhood you always see others you’ve met at an event or in a resident group.”
