The fastest growing zip code in the Houston area is 77441. And, with it being the zip code for Fulshear and Cross Creek Ranch, we are not surprised.

According to the Greater Houston Partnership, the Fulshear population grew by 759 percent between July 1, 2010, and July 1, 2017. The U.S. Census Bureau ranks Fulshear at No. 22 on a list of the fastest-growing cities in the United States. From 2016 to 2017, the population grew from 6,511 residents to 7,928, an increase of 21.3 percent.

As one of the top-selling communities in the nation, Cross Creek Ranch has contributed to the phenomenal growth of Fulshear. Between the fourth quarter of 2016 and the first quarter of 2018, we had the most new home starts of any Fulshear-area community according to reports by both RCLCO and John Burns Real Estate Consulting. Since we opened in 2008, we’ve sold more than 2,700 homes.

We’ve helped Fulshear grow in other ways, too. On-site and nearby commercial development has brought both an Aldi and an H-E-B to our town. We have added two Katy ISD elementary schools — both located within our community. By 2020, we also will be adding a junior high and a high school. Two years ago, our other school district, Lamar CISD, opened a new junior high and a high school nearby. Niche.com routinely ranks Fulshear as one of the top suburbs to raise a family in.
