Trinity Falls - We'll Match Your Donation to Shiloh Place

North Texas Giving Day (NTGD) is just around the corner and once again we will be helping to break the cycle of poverty by matching your donation to Shiloh Place.

NTGD is an annual 18-hour online giving extravaganza for North Texas nonprofits. It is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation, raising $39 million through more than 137,000 gifts benefiting 2,723 local nonprofits last year, alone. Since its inception in 2009, NTGD has raised more than $195 million for the North Texas community.

This year, we are doubling your gift when you donate to our favorite non-profit. Shiloh Place makes a difference by providing homeless single mothers with housing, childcare, tuition, counseling and life skills classes for up to 2 years so they can become self-supporting. They give a hand up, not a hand out.

We will be matching your donations — up to $750 — to Shiloh Place, doubling the amount of good they can do for local mothers in need.

Although the official NTGD date is Thursday, Sept. 20, giving is open now. To give, click here. Your donation will still be part of matching funds and hourly prizes that day.

After you donate, make plans to attend the Collin County Giving Day Party in the Park, where you can get to know 65 Collin County nonprofits as they promote their participation in North Texas Giving Day. The party takes place in historic Finch Park from 4:30-7 p.m. Sept. 20 and features food trucks, games, music and fun.
