Cross Creek Ranch - Fulshear Ranks Among Top Five Safest Cities

Where’s the safest place to nestle all snug in your bed? Cross Creek Ranch because it’s located in one of the top five safest cities in Texas.

SafeWise, an independent review site, used 2016 FBI crime report statistics to rank the top 50 safest cities in Texas based on a number of violent crimes. Fulshear placed at No. 4.

Fulshear, along with 41 other cities on the list, experienced less than one violent crime per 1,000 residents per year. The city only experienced approximately six property crimes. Property crimes include burglary, arson, larceny-theft and motor vehicle theft.

Overall, the SafeWise report found that Texas cities are experiencing less crime. The state crime rate is now at its lowest point since 1967.

A low crime rate is one of the many things that makes Fulshear one of the top 2018 Best Places to Raise a Family according to Niche.com. Rankings are based on the quality of local schools, safety, affordability and access to family amenities. Fulshear scored the No. 11 spot.
