Riverstone - Break a Sweat, Grab Some Grub April 19April 04, 2019
Pre-game for food truck grub with a heart-pumping, sweat-inducing workout during this month’s Bite Nite Friday, April 19. Join us at The Club at Riverstone, 18353 University Boulevard from 5:30-9 p.m. for food, Easter-themed activities, face painters and a chance to score some free Lululemon gear. Start the evening with a high-powered workout led by Lululemon ambassador and Revolution Studio cycle instructor Kris Velasquez from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the clubhouse ballroom. The 50-minute class will feature progressive floor drills including dynamic, cardio and compound movements. The class is free. To join in you must pre-register. All participants will be entered into a drawing to win free Lululemon gear. You do not have to attend the class to attend Bite Nite. After you burn those calories, reward yourself with awesome street eats from our line-up of rolling restaurants — along with tunes spun by a DJ, bounce houses, yard games and more. Why not start with dessert? SheCupcakes Bake Shoppe will be serving up gourmet cupcakes, brownies, cookies and more. Or sink your teeth into fried bananas from Churrasco Food Truck. If you are in the mood for Chinese, Tu-Go Kitchen will be bringing the Kung Pao chicken and fried rice. The Sauer Kraut Food Truck will be on hand with the Schruben, a delectable meld of schnitzel and a Reuben sandwich. Rounding out the food truck frenzy will be the creative mash-up of Mexican and Cajun delights prepared by EaDeaux’s Cajun Cocina. The next Bite Nite Fridays are scheduled for May 10, June 14, July 12, Aug. 16, Sept. 13 and Oct. 11. Trucks are subject to change. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed. Some trucks may be cash only so diners should stop at the ATM on the way. |
