Riverstone - Eat, Drink and Be Scary Oct. 11October 03, 2019
Ready to lift your spirits and have a “fa-boo-lous” time with the family? Then don’t miss our Halloween-themed Bite Nite Friday from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 11. Take advantage of this last chance for food truck fare in Riverstone this year by heading out to The Club at Riverstone, 18353 University Boulevard, for a non-scary evening of “spell-tacular” food, themed activities, a live DJ, spooky visitors, yard games and a Halloween-themed bounce house. The Little Folks Party Bus will be onsite with Halloween crafts for the kids. Everyone can shake their “boo-ty” and learn the ultimate “Thriller” zombie dance. Even Fido can unleash his Halloween spirit during our “Best Dressed Dog” costume contest. Decked-out dogs can parade in their finery beginning at 7:30 p.m. Our friends at Pet Suites have provided an awesome grand prize! They also will be onsite with dog treats for sale and information about their boarding and grooming services. As always, five delicious rolling restaurants will tempt your palates with creative cuisine. Ever wonder what a peach cobbler-filled egg roll would taste like? Well, wonder no more because Saucy Nosh will be here with original sweet and savory takes on the humble dish. Enjoy options such as Brisket Mac-n-Cheese and the aforementioned peach cobbler, as well as veggie egg rolls and red velvet lava cake. Popular Japanese fusion dishes will be served up by Muiishii Makriittos. Churrascos will roll in with Brazilian appetizers, sandwiches and more. Get your fish fix with American Lobster and Seafood. For dessert, design your own Smoosh ice cream sandwiches. This is the final Bite Nite of the season so don’t miss out! Trucks are subject to change. Fido can come but he must be well-behaved and on his leash. Some trucks may be cash-only, so stop at the ATM on the way. Don’t forget your lawn chairs!
