Santa’s elves have been busy this year putting together a string of safe holiday events the entire family can enjoy. Many of them are near Riverstone and all of them are infused with the magic of the season. All events will be following COVID guidelines, so mask up and head out for some holiday fun! Sugar Land Holiday Lights The light-filled holiday extravaganza returns with even more lights and themed events than ever before, including a carnival, eight themed areas, light shows every hour synced up to music, a make-your-own s'mores pit, visits with Santa Claus and more. Santa's MAGI-SPHERE The jolly old elf himself will be beamed through a magical holographic snow globe — in real time — so children of all ages can safely visit Santa. Santa Pictures Meet Santa in a safe, socially distanced way and have your picture taken. Frosty Friday Enjoy frosty fun ice carving demonstrations, ice skating presentations and snowflake flurries. Saturday with the Stars Come out for a special concert with local musicians playing country western, pop, jazz, rock and rhythm and blues holiday tunes. Santa’s Sunday Workshop Have brunch with Santa at socially distanced tables. Your family can order from local eateries and children can get crafty with holiday-themed activities. Fort Bend Christian Academy Band The Fort Bend Christian Academy Band and Upper School Worship Team perform the sounds of this sacred season. Holiday Dance Showcase Local dance companies will entertain all day with an array of dance styles, costumes and music. Holiday Movie Under the Moon Bring the family, lawn chairs and warm blankets to a showing of “The Grinch.” Giant Menorah Lighting Celebration Celebrate Chanukah and the lighting of the giant menorah with Chabad of Sugar Land along with arts and crafts for children, Israeli food, performances, live music, dancing and more.
