Cross Creek Ranch - Your New Home Can Help Texana CenterDecember 16, 2020
Thinking of purchasing a new home in Cross Creek Ranch? Now is the time because if you buy a new home during our Give Back — Move Forward promotion, you also could help fund the great work Texana Center is doing in Fort Bend County. During the promotion, we will donate $500 to one of your choice of five charities — Abigail’s Place, Family Hope, Fort Bend PAWS, Rainbow Room and Texana Center. Also, through the promotion, one buyer will receive an extra gift if they close on their new home by Oct. 31, 2021 — a $5,000 furniture gift card. Texana Center is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide behavioral healthcare and developmental disabilities services to children and adults, including those with autism. More than 16,000 people each year take advantage of the array of services offered such as helping autistic children learn appropriate behaviors, self-care, communication, social interaction, academics and more. They help adults and children with intellectual disabilities develop the skills they need to function in society and achieve their full potential. Finally, Texana provides assessment, treatment and supportive assistance for those affected by serious and persistent mental illness. It recently opened a Fulshear campus that includes the third location of the Children’s Center for Autism and a new program, the Center for Advancement. This new program will provide training for teens and young adults in a community college-like setting, offering an array of classes where they can learn social and employment skills, explore their strengths and prepare to lead productive lives.
Texana Center also needs donations of classroom supplies, non-perishable food items and cleaning supplies. If you can help, check out the list below. Donations can be left under the Giving Tree at the Cross Creek Ranch Welcome Center, 6450 Cross Creek Bend Lane. Thank you for being a holiday angel this year and supporting this fine organization.
