Grand Central Park - Give Some Joy with a Toy Dec. 1-10

For families struggling to make ends meet, the gift of a toy can make all the difference this holiday season. We’re doing our part by hosting a toy drive at Grand Central Park Dec. 1-10.

Unwrapped gifts can be dropped off daily at The Lake House, 1039 Lake House Drive, between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Toys also will be accepted at The Finding Place, 750 Grand Central Parkway, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Once collected, toys will be distributed to children by the Conroe Police Department.

Last year, we collected seven overflowing boxes filled with toys for Conroe-area children. Conroe PD distributed them to CASA Montgomery County.

Gifts are needed for babies, young children, pre-teens and teenagers. Some thoughtful gifts include LEGOs, action figures, dolls, board games, books, baby toys, handheld electronic toys, manicure sets, sporting equipment, purses, craft kits and outdoor gear.

Thanks for giving Santa a helping hand and bringing joy to a young girl or boy.
