Riverstone - Can You Make Sugar Land Smile?

The City of Sugar Land invites amateur and professional photographers to submit their favorite photos for the 2012 “Best of Sugar Land” calendar.

Entry deadline is Sept. 30, with the winners notified Oct. 1. The winning images will be published in the annual calendar, mailed to 30,000 businesses and residents. Photographers will be credited and retain all rights to their photos for other uses.

The pictures should depict the “best” of Sugar Land — people, parks, schools, businesses and neighborhoods. They may include favorite locations, artistic elements or candid shots of people in scenes reflecting Sugar Land’s vibrant community life and diversity.

Photos should be high resolution, with 300 pixels per inch and a physical size of 8.5 by 11 inches. They should be current images and entries must include photographer’s name and contact information (addresses, phones and emails), locations of each photo and approximate date the image was photographed.
