Johnson Development Announces 3 PromotionsApril 25, 2023
Johnson Development has promoted three longtime employees, including Trey Reichert who now serves as Senior Vice President of Houston Land Development Operations. In this new role, Reichert will oversee day-to-day land development operations in Houston while supporting the growing operations of the Johnson Development portfolio. “Trey has been an integral force at Johnson Development, managing several Houston-area communities during his tenure, including Riverstone in Fort Bend County,” said Johnson Development President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Smith. “His deep knowledge and talented skillset will continue to enhance our anticipated growth here in Houston.” Reichert started at Johnson Development in 2005 and has worked as General Manager of Riverstone in Sugar Land and Veranda in Richmond. He also was General Manager of the new Johnson Development community of Jubilee. Before his promotion, Reichert’s title was Vice President and General Manager of the three communities.
Replacing Reichert in two of the communities is Senior Development Manager June Tang, who has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Veranda and Jubilee. Tang has worked at Johnson Development since 2015, first as development manager of Riverstone and then Veranda. Like Reichert, she also worked on the new Jubilee community. Additionally, Senior Development Manager David Hogue also is being promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Harvest Green, Houston’s first agrihood. Previously ranked among the nation’s top-selling master-planned communities, Harvest Green has now moved development into a 630-acre expansion. Hogue has been at Johnson Development since 2014, starting as a Construction Manager before being promoted to Development Manager in 2018. He has worked on the Harvest Green, Imperial Sugar Land and Jordan Ranch communities. Hogue has a bachelor’s degree in construction management from the University of Houston. Reichert and Tang both hold bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering. Reichert graduated from Texas A&M University and Tang from the University of Texas at Austin. “We are pleased to promote June and David, both valuable members of the Johnson Development team,” Smith said. “They are each exceptionally capable and ready to take on their expanded responsibilities. The promotions are well deserved.” Founded in 1975, Johnson Development has active communities in Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin. It has had more master-planned communities listed among the nation’s top-selling than any other developer for the past 10 years. |
