How can your kids have fun all summer long? Send them to camp! The North Houston area is full of engaging academic, sports, arts and all-around day camps. Here are some you won’t want your kiddos to miss out on. As a bonus, they are all near Woodforest.
All-Around Day Camps
Kiddie Academy’s CampVentures
Times vary. Monday-Friday, May 29-Aug. 11 Ages 2-12 $250 per week Keep kids busy all summer long right here in Woodforest. Kids experience Kiddie Academy’s Life Essentials curriculum that focuses on character education, STEM-infused technology and health and fitness experiences while enjoying hands-on activities, field trips, water play, movie days, special vendors and themed events.
Camp Fun Quest
Times vary. Monday-Friday, May 30-Aug. 8 Grades 1-6 $134-$147 per week There’s fun for everyone at these weekly themed camps offering field trips, crafts, hiking, swimming and more. Lunch, snacks and water bottle needed each day.
Montgomery ISD Summer Enrichment Camps

Paint & Bubbles Art Camps
Days and times vary, May 30-Aug. 11 Ages 4-16 Prices vary Kids and teens paint, draw, craft and explore their creative side at this Magnolia art studio. Camps range from single day to weekly themed camps. Separate camps available for children 6-12 and teens 13-16.
Wine & Design
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, May 30-July 25 Ages 5-12 $120-$140 Send your child on a magical- and art-filled journey. Each three-day camp explores a different theme including “Under the Sea & Me” and “Wizard Academy.”
The Greatest Show Day Camp
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 24-28 Ages 6-12 $190 Children take center stage while learning songs and choreography from “The Greatest Showman.” Camp also includes dance, drama, vocals and games. Christian worship and scripture are an integral part of each day.
Songs from Grease Teen Camp
9:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 12-17 Ages 13-19 $350 Teens build musical theater skills while preparing for an end-of-camp showcase. The week also includes swimming, games, worship and scripture.
Harry Potter & the Art Camp
2-7 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 10-14 Ages 10-18 $375 The Harry Potter books come to life at The Studio. Kids will be sorted into houses, make LED wands, create stained glass pieces in divination and design magical creatures out of foam. Quidditch, potions class and a Yule Ball are also on the schedule.

Camp Invention
9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 5-9 Grades K-6th $265 Children explore STEM concepts as they engineer light-up party hats, use the science of color to create a bubble art banner and invent a party assistant to help bring their plans to life.
The Woodlands Children’s Museum
9 a.m.-noon & 1-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 5-Aug. 4 Ages 4-10 $76-$209 The museum is offering nine weeks of themed camps to help students explore science, coding, filmmaking, animations, Roblox, Minecraft, art and other activities.
Education for Tomorrow Alliance (EfTA)

Montgomery Soccer Camp
8:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday-Friday, May 30-June 2 Ages 3-13 $140 Dedicated coaches help kids build and improve fundamental skills and game knowledge. Participants receive an i9 Sports sportsmanship medal and t-shirt upon completion of the camp. Cleats recommended but not required.
Armored Sports
8 a.m.-noon & 1-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 26-29 & July 10-13 Grades K-6 $110-115 Four Christian-centered camps are offered, including basketball, dodgeball, flag football and soccer. Staff will act out a Bible story each day.
Maximum Athletics Gymnastics Camps
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 5-July 28 Ages 5-14 $190 Kids tumble into fun at themed camps designed to improve gymnastics skills. Kids also enjoy obstacle courses, trampolines, crafts, movies and water activities.
Dynamo Dash Youth Soccer
