Grand Central Park - We’re Houston’s Best Community!

Who is the best? We are! That’s according to Houston Chronicle readers who named Grand Central Park as the Best Community in Houston.

What do Houstonians love about us? It could be our 2,046 heavily wooded acres — more than a thousand of which will remain in its natural state. The Grandeur is a network of nature trails and paved pathways found throughout the community. On any given day, you can see families hiking under shady trees, cycling groups and residents out walking their dogs. The trails lead to our many parks and playgrounds.

Our water-loving residents can take kayaks out onto Paddle Lake, fish at Deer Lake and just meditate by Grand Lake.

Overlooking the lakes is The Lake House, a 13-acre complex with a clubhouse, pool, playground, large pavilion, dog park and more that was awarded “Master-Planned Community Amenity Center of the Year” last year in the Houston’s Best PRISM Awards hosted by the Greater Houston Builders Association.

City Central boasts offices, restaurants, the Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the newly opened Hyatt Regency Conroe Hotel & Convention Center. We’ll be honest. We’ve won many awards over the years. Last year, we were named "Best Overall Community More Than 600 Acres" by the Texas Builders Association. This award means just as much because you nominated and voted for us. We will wear this honor with pride!
