Bryson in Leander Nears Close-OutSeptember 27, 2023
Following an eight-year run that has seen the Johnson Development community win “Community of the Year” awards five times, Bryson is nearing close-out with fewer than 100 homes remaining. More than 400 homesites were released to builders last year, with homes selling rapidly during a robust Austin real estate market, said Bryson Marketing Director Kandis Rushing. “The past several years, it’s been hard to keep inventory homes for any length of time,” she said. “The pace has slowed from its high, but the demand to live in Leander and in Bryson still remains strong.” Builders Chesmar Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes and Tri Pointe Homes each have opened model homes this year. They offer floorplans that are base-priced from the $440,000s to near $1 million. Builders offer a mix of exteriors that incorporate Farmhouse, Craftsman and Traditional-style architectural details. “Because we don’t zero in on one particular style, the streetscape in Bryson is beautiful — a throwback to yesteryear but with modern nuances,” Rushing said. Along with new model home openings this year, Johnson Development also opened Dogwood Park in Bryson. The park boasts a playground, event pavilion and dog park with separate runs for large and small dogs. Residents also enjoy a second outdoor pavilion, a resort-style pool, a splash pad, playground, fire pit, a catch-and-release fishing pond, parks and nature trails. Bryson has won a Star Award for “Best Overall Community Under 600 Acres” from the Texas Association of Builders in 2022 and 2020. Also in 2022 and 2020, the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin awarded Bryson “Master-Planned Community of the Year Under 600 Acres” at its MAX Awards. The Austin Business Journal named Bryson “Master-Planned Community of the Year” in its 2020 Residential Real Estate Awards. |
