Kresston - Kresston Supports Magnolia Roots Concert April 20

We are a big fan of Magnolia ISD which is why we jumped at the chance to be the title sponsor of the district’s annual Magnolia Roots Concert, 4:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Unity Park, 19450 Unity Park Drive in Magnolia.

Headlining the event will be local country music artists Roger Creager and Jesse Raub, Jr. Both are well-known for their classic Texas country music. The musical stylings of other local artists as well as Magnolia ISD student performers will round out the event. 

Tickets are $65 to $75 and can be purchased online. The concert will take place rain or shine. Chairs and blankets are welcome. Tickets often sell out, so don’t delay!

Proceeds benefit the Magnolia Education Foundation, a nonprofit whose mission is to fund grants for innovative teaching projects, increase volunteer participation in foundation activities and events and provide endowment funding sources to foster creative teaching activities.

In 2023, the foundation provided $63,135 to Magnolia ISD for innovative teacher grants. More than $910,000 in teacher grants have been awarded since the foundation’s start in 2001. Scholarships are also provided to qualifying graduating seniors.
