Harvest Green - Visit Us in April

Spring at Harvest Green is magical. The weather is amazing, our crops are growing and there is always plenty to do. Want to share in our bounty? We’ve got several events this month you won’t want to miss!

We love bringing our farm to your table. The easiest way to do that (besides living here) is to attend our weekly farmers market. Held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday, rain or shine, the market is one-stop shopping for organic produce, eggs, honey, meat, baked goods, natural body care products and more. While you are filling up your reusable shopping bag, the kids can play on the playground. It’s the perfect start to your weekend!

On April 20 we will be celebrating Earth Day at the Harvest Green Farmers Market. During this special market you will be able to participate in our annual Oyster Creek Cleanup (be here by 10 a.m. if you want to participate), visit our goats and chickens and take home your own spring seedling!

Want to get to know our Village Farm a little better? How about joining us for a tour? Our farmers host monthly tours of the farm complete with samples of what we are harvesting. You’ll also learn everything you need to know about running a farm and have a chance to meet our adorable goats and chickens. The next farm tour takes place 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 26. Harvest Green Community Garage Sale

Looking for a few gadgets and gizmos? How about gently used baby clothes, books, electronics, furniture and more? You can find it all at bargain basement prices during our annual spring garage sale. This year the garage sale will take place 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 27. Stop by the Farmhouse, 3400 Harvest Corner Drive, to pick up a map of participating homes and start your treasure hunt!
