Woodforest - Pine Market Events You’ll Fall in Love With

Can you feel it? Fall is in the air and with it comes some amazing autumn-inspired events at the Park at Pine Market. Come out for music, movies and fun. While you’re here, don’t forget to stop by our fabulous restaurants and shops! Here’s what’s on the calendar for fall:

September

September kicks off our Concert in the Park series. From 7 to 9 p.m. every first and third Friday of the month through November, you are invited to spread out a blanket and enjoy the musical stylings of talented local artists.

The Morgan Ashley Duo will take the stage Sept. 6. Morgan Ashley mixes strong vocals and witty lyricism to create memorable country music songs you’ll be humming all night long. If you’ve got a hankering for traditional country music, rock and blues favorites, you will not want to miss The Texas Legacy Band on Sept. 20.

Have you ever wanted to take a self-defense class? Now you can! Our very own, Premier Martial Arts is hosting an adult-focused self-defense class that will provide a total body workout and teach you how to take care of yourself if the need arises. The free class takes place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14.

October

We’re starting October with a chance to meet and mingle with Woodforest’s local law enforcement during National Night Out, 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 1. The annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie will feature cool squad cars and emergency vehicles.

Our Concert in the Park series continues Friday, Oct. 4, with Adrian Michael. The talented singer appeared on American Idol and has taken the stage at Rockets and Texans games. On Oct. 18, Zach Jones & the 45's will perform your favorite country hits.

Bring the kids out for a movie and some Halloween fun, 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, during our (Not So) Spooky Movie in the Park. We’ll be showing Hotel Transylvania 2 on the big screen and handing out some sugary treats.

November

Strengthen your core outdoors Saturday, Nov. 9! Bring a mat and prepare to feel the burn at a Pilates class hosted by Pine Market’s Club Pilates. The free class begins at 12:30 p.m.
