Woodforest - Tenzen Japanese Restaurant Now Open

Sushi, sashimi, steak and more are on the menu now that Tenzen Japanese Restaurant has opened in Pine Market.

The upscale dining spot celebrated a soft opening in July. The menu features fresh sushi and sashimi with fish sourced from countries such as Scotland and Japan. Japanese and American wagyu beef are also offered as well as steak and seafood dishes.

The interior of the 4,200-square-foot restaurant is sleek and elegant. There is a sushi bar and a room for large gatherings. Another bar serves up high-end sake, Japanese whiskey and an extensive wine list.

Among the many outstanding menu items, diners will discover Japanese sea bass salad, bone-in rib eye steak and a selection of nigiri and sashimi. When it comes to maki (rolls) the “Bubba Gump” with shrimp tempura, cream cheese, scallions, avocado, boiled shrimp and eel has become a favorite. The Hawaiian roll offers blue fin tuna, king salmon, mango, lettuce and avocado with a honey wasabi and chili sauce.
