When it comes to family-friendly fall festivals, Georgetown, TX knows how to have fun. So do Leander, TX and Liberty Hill, TX. Whether you want to pick pumpkins, enjoy live music, feast on fall favorites or just enjoy the weather, there are many reasons to attend one or all of these upcoming events.

Georgetown, TX

South Main Art Festival
10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19
Free

Georgetown’s 3rd annual juried and curated artistic event is a true crowd-pleaser. Various media will be on display, including drawings, paintings, sculptures and more. There will also be live music headlined by The Suffers, food trucks, restaurants offering samples, dancers, interactive drumming and printmaking and special exhibits.

Sweet Eats Georgetown Fall Festival
9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily, through Oct. 31
$26-$29 per person

Sweet Eats Adventure Farm hosts an annual fall festival featuring a safari-themed corn maze and a vast two-acre pumpkin patch showcasing more than 40 pumpkin varieties. There are a number of activities to enjoy, including pig races, a petting zoo, pony rides, wagon rides, apple canons, weekend fireworks and more.

Leander, TX

Texas Pumpkin Fest
10 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday through Sunday and Halloween, Oct. 4-31
$15 per person

The spirit of Halloween is alive and well at this not-so-scary festival of all things spooky. Participants will enjoy a gigantic pumpkin patch, Hall of Monsters, magic shows, rides, slides and hayrides. There will also be a petting zoo, miniature train, pumpkin’ smash, zombie laser tag, pumpkin pie eating contest, costume contest, games and more.

Bluegrass & Folk Festival
6=9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4-5
Admission is free, $15 for fun zone wristbands

Get ready for two days of bluegrass and folk music by Steel Betty, Midnight Grass, Lost Patterns and The Hillsiders. Attendees will also enjoy food truck fare, beverages and a fun zone.

Art Fest
2-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12

The City of Leander Public Arts and Culture Commission is hosting a Fall Fantasy Festival showcasing artists from Leander and beyond. Come out for artist workshops, music, booths, children’s painting contest, scavenger hunts, food trucks, artist and vendor and a chance to traverse the Sculpture Trail.

Liberty Hill, TX

Liberty Hill Sculpture Festival
2-7 p.m. Sat., Oct. 19
Free

Celebrate the art of sculpture while enjoying food, live music and vendors. There will be live sculpting demos in a variety of mediums, including stone, wood, metal, glass, sand and ice, as well as plenty of hands-on activities, an inflatable kid’s zone, pet costume contest and more.

Fall Fest
Noon-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26
Free

Head to Liberty Hill Middle School for an afternoon of fall fun featuring inflatables, hayrides, bubble soccer, live music, food trucks, face painting and more! There will also be food trucks, vendors and activities.
