Cross Creek Ranch - Randle Elementary's Library Shelves Are Ready to Roar

November 22, 2024

What better way to start the journey at a new school than by sharing the gift of books? Cross Creek Ranch recently held the Ramp Up Reading Book Drive, and the results were nothing short of spectacular. With an astounding 1,147 books donated, the Randle Elementary library shelves are now teeming with opportunities for students to dive into new adventures, gain fresh perspectives and embark on countless literary journeys.

This book drive was more than just a call for donations; it was a community effort that brought people together in support of a common goal—enhancing literacy and fostering a love for reading among Randle Elementary students. The outpouring of generosity from the community means that every student will have access to a diverse range of books that cater to varied interests and reading levels.

Genres spanned across historical fiction, where young readers can travel back in time, to biographies that allow them to walk in the footsteps of inspiring individuals. Science books are ready to ignite curiosity about the world, while fiction and nonfiction offer a balance of imagination and reality. This eclectic mix ensures that the library becomes a treasure chest of knowledge and fun, making it an inviting space for all Raptors to explore.

A special thank you goes out to everyone who contributed to the Ramp Up Reading Book Drive. Your donations are now a permanent part of Randle Elementary’s educational resources, setting the stage for students to develop a lifelong love of reading. With these new additions, the library truly becomes the heart of the school, where the adventure of learning never ends.
