With more than 1,000 homes sold and a new model home park now open, Jordan Ranch is a beehive of activity!

Late last year, Jordan Ranch released 415 properties to builders eager to start new model homes and new inventory. The new model home park features 12 models and a wide variety of product lines. David Weekley Homes and Lennar have designs for 45-foot properties and Perry Homes and Westin Homes will build on 50-foot lots. Chesmar Homes and Highland Homes have floor plans for 55-foot homesites and Lennar and Westin Homes offer designs for 60-foot properties. Highland and Perry Homes also are building on 65-foot lots while David Weekley and J. Patrick Homes have designs for 70-foot homesites. J. Patrick Homes also is introducing its Nuvo Vista Series for 55-foot homesites in Jordan Ranch and will offer the floor plans from its new 70-foot model home.

And coming soon is something entirely new for Jordan Ranch — homes for 40-foot properties. Perry Homes will be building in this section and will have a model home there.

But that’s not all that is new to Jordan Ranch. Sylvia Morgese is the new Director of Fun at Jordan Ranch. And while she’s new to the community, she’s not new to her lifestyle director role or to Johnson Development — she was formerly Director of Fun at Harvest Green. Development of a pocket park is underway, and a dog park is in the planning stages, complementing The Shed recreation center, resort-style-pool with its lazy river, tennis courts, fitness center and playgrounds residents already enjoy. Breaking ground this May in Jordan Ranch is a Lamar CISD elementary school that is anticipated to open for the 2023-2024 school year.

Jordan Ranch residents are also excited about last fall’s opening of Texas Heritage Parkway, which makes commuting and getting around town even easier. Sunset Farm is blooming with fresh produce, and a farm stand is open 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays with just-picked vegetables.
