Johnson Development Again Wins Developer of the YearOctober 06, 2022
Johnson Development had plenty to celebrate following the 2022 Houston’s Best PRISM Awards, earning nine awards — including the coveted Grand Award for Developer of the Year. It is our second such honor this year, having won Developer of the Year this summer in the Texas Association of Builders’ Star Awards. It’s the fourth time in 10 years that Johnson has won the Grand Award for Developer of the Year in the Houston’s Best PRISM Awards. Our array of this year’s Houston’s Best PRISM awards honors people from the Johnson Development team, our communities, our amenities and our marketing efforts. Jordan Ranch in Fulshear was named Community of the Year and also won Community Amenity Center of the Year – Developer for its 1.5-acre Sunset Farm. Jordan Ranch was also a finalist in the Television/Video Promo of the Year – Developer category. Jordan Ranch is currently ranked among the nation’s 50 top-selling master-planned communities. Cross Creek Ranch — another Fulshear community — was awarded Charitable Project of the Year for last year’s “Give Back, Build Hope” campaign. Through the initiative, Cross Creek Ranch donated nearly $20,000 to six Fort Bend charities. Carrie Roehling, the Marketing Director at Cross Creek Ranch, was also a finalist for Marketing Professional of the Year in Houston’s Best PRISM Awards. The Johnson community of Grand Central Park in Conroe took home a number of awards, including Master- Planned Community Amenity Center of the Year – Developer for The Lake House, Marketing Campaign of the Year – Developer for the “Pure Living” campaign and Event of the Year – Master-Planned Community for the grand opening of The Lake House. It was a finalist in Billboard Branding of the Year, Lifestyle Director of the Year and Master-Planned Community of the Year categories. The Cottage House amenity complex in Veranda won Community Recreation Center of the Year – Developer. Veranda was also a finalist in the Community of the Year category won by sister community Jordan Ranch. Finally, Edgewater in Webster was named a finalist for Website of the Year. Doug Goff, who retired earlier this year as Co-President of Johnson Development, was awarded the Trailblazer Award for his decades of influence on Houston’s real estate landscape. Announcing his award was his wife and former Johnson Development Marketing Director Susie Goff, who won the inaugural Trailblazer Award. We are honored that our awards represent the people, places and things that make Johnson communities such a wonderful place to call “home.”
